The future transit hub will connect everything in Waterloo Region providing seamless access to multiple modes of transportation to connecting you to north Waterloo, south Kitchener, major shopping malls, universities and college campuses and major urban centres of Toronto and London. It will serve as the hub for the following commuting options:

  • CarShare
  • Pedestrians and cyclists

Kitchener announces bold new incubation space in former bank building a few doors down from Q Condos

New incubation space for social, equity and environmental start-ups has been proposed for the former bank building located a few doors down from Momentum Developments’ new condo project, Q Condos.

A first-of-its-kind social entrepreneurship hub in Waterloo Region is set to become a reality in Downtown Kitchener. If approved by Kitchener City Council, 2 King St. W. will be transformed into an interim incubation space for entrepreneurs and start-ups focused on social and environmental innovation and solving local and global issues. The new space would welcome a variety of social and environmental entrepreneurs including underrepresented groups and equity-deserving entrepreneurs.
